Mom's Mystery Chest

Mom's mystery chest has lain in the dark receses of her garage unopened for 30 years.

What does it contain!  Vern guesses dust, Sue thinks it is empty, Rosemary thinks Mom's wedding dress.

Judy says blankets, Mom thinks she remembers uniforms.

We gather for the "OPENING"

We travel to the Chehalis Veteran's Museum.  Mom presents the uniforms as a gift.

The museum graciously accepts the gift.  They say if we can bring pictures and other memorabilia, they

would be able to make a display featuring dad!  Their purpose is not to forget the vets who so heroically

served their country.  They gave us an impressive tour.  It was a higlight of our great weekend together.
